Our Care Teams Top 5 Wellness Non-Negotiables. We practice what we preach.
A primary care membership for patients who want more. Primary Care. Nutrition. Wellness. All under one roof.
In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it's easy to overlook the importance of prioritizing our mental and physical health. However, for our Care Team, wellness isn't just a goal, it's a non-negotiable. We practice what we preach.
Here’s our Care Team's top five wellness non-negotiables:

- Prioritize good oral hygiene - tongue scraping, flossing with Cocofloss, wearing my retainers (LOL), electric toothbrush, and HPA toothpaste.
- Drink filtered water and add in trace minerals to stay hydrated.
- Move my body in some way every day.
- Aim to stop eating 2-3 hours before bed.
Brandon Caraballosa, Wellness Advisor
- Workout in the morning to boost my energy and metal clarity throughout the day.
- Limit refined carbs at lunch to avoid a midday energy crash.
- Take a 10 minute break during the middle of the workday by going for a walk outside.
- Cook dinner most nights to avoid Uber Eats.
- Consistently get into bed around the same time and read to get off of my screen.
Ali Rakow, Physician Assistant
- Do something for myself in the morning before work. Either at least one of the following: exercise, meditate, affirmations, journal, reiki or my Donna Eden energy medicine routine.
- Pair morning coffee with food.
- Limit meals I eat out, especially on weekdays. I usually will only order one dinner or one lunch out during the week.
- Take breaks during the day, typically it’s a walk outside in nature.
- Energy cleanse meditation at night and sleep with mouth tap to promote nostril breathing and an eye mask to reduce any light exposure.
