A 45-minute consultation.
Your lab results are only as good as the interpretation. Our Care Team, trained in Integrative and Functional Medicine, analyzes your biometric data holistically. A Lanby Clinician and Wellness Advisor meet with you virtually to review your results, answer questions, and provide personalized recommendations. This plan covers diet, fitness, supplements, sleep hygiene, preventive screenings, and clinical follow-ups.
FAQ
Does The Lanby’s fee cover the cost of the lab tests?
Our fee provides access to our lab panel and includes a 45-min consultation with a Clinician and Wellness Advisor to interpret your results. The tests themselves are billed in-network through your insurance. The size of your copay will depend on your insurance plan and deductible. We will share your lab order with you ahead of your lab visit. If you have concerns about the size of your copay, we encourage you to request an estimate from your insurance provider by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.
Why is there an expected copay for labwork?
Most insurance carriers do not cover the cost of preventive testing. If there is not a diagnosis code associated with the test ordered, insurance will not deem it medically necessary, and will therefore not cover the associated cost. We do our best to use the medical information provided in your intake form to validate the need and maximize your insurance reimbursement. We also provide you with the option during your intake questionnaire.
Can I come to The Lanby to get my labs drawn or do I need to go to a local lab?
As part of your intake form, we will ask whether you have a preference to come into The Lanby or visit a local lab. We will do our best to accommodate all requests based on our capacity.
How long will it take to schedule my consultation following my lab visit?
We will schedule your consultation two weeks after your lab visit to ensure enough time for your results to come in. Some of the tests included in our panel take longer to process, and this window guarantees our Care Team enough time to prepare for your consultation.
After completing my consultation, can I upgrade to become a member of The Lanby?
You will have access to our app for 30 days following your consultation. During this window, you can reach out anytime to request to apply your payment towards a Lanby membership.
What makes this offering different from others in the market?
Just the Labs is the only offering that gives you access to a comprehensive lab panel and includes a 45 minute consultation with both a Clinician and a Wellness Advisor. Lab interpretations are nuanced and require discussion to ensure your questions are answered with care and attention. Just the Labs is also the only service of its kind to offer the ability to upgrade to a full membership for continuity of care.
What states are eligible to participate?
We can accommodate out of state patients through our third party lab vendor, Vibrant America, which offers DTC access to our lab panel. The kit can be purchased through our storefront for $283 and shipped directly to you. You can use Vibrant’s Phlebotomist finder to find a participating lab service for your blood draw.
Will you prescribe me medication or refer me to specialists?
As part of our visit, we provide comprehensive, personalized suggestions for preventive screenings, supplements, and recommendations for specialists who can offer follow-up care, including medication management if necessary. It's important to note that coordination of care is not included in this offering.
If you're seeking full primary care support, we recommend scheduling a consult call to explore our membership options. Our membership provides access to a broader range of healthcare services, including comprehensive coordination of care, medication management and ongoing visits. Feel free to reach out to learn more about how our membership can benefit you.
Can I purchase additional follow up visits?
If you wish to continue your care with us, we recommend booking a consult call to learn more about our membership.
What do I get after the visit?
We will share a visit summary that provides an overview of the conversation and recommended next steps. Our goal is to share a deeper understanding of your baseline health to help you prioritize your efforts going forward and personalize your approach to wellness.
